Making history for the year 2006 - Part 3

Forgive me, for I've been remiss in my duties to keep in touch with friends. I totally suck at this whole keeping-in-contact business, and it is things like this that makes me really wonder if I'm gonna end up sad and lonely 20 years down the road.

Kindergarten friends are out - except Boon May. I hardly keep in touch with my primary school friends - besides Boon May and occasionally, Dana and Wacky. The occasional birthday greeting and casual chats with secondary school friends - perhaps with the exception of Boon May and a couple of others. Jc 1st-3-months friends - a few, but it's Grace mainly, since my sis's in Mjc as well. Jc friends are probably the only ones whom I contact on a more regular basis, especially the canoeists. Well, I guess this just speaks volumes about my friends-keeping ability, and it's not good.

So what made history, you ask?

Last Saturday was 'Skirt Day', as decided by Grace and Xuezhen. So in line with the theme, I obviously wore a skirt, with a pair of heels! Yes, the same pair as the one I wore on College Day. Don't believe me? Wait till you see the pictures!


Dinner was at Fish & Co, where the 3 of us shared a 'Seafood Platter for 2'. The serving was incredibly huge, so huge that we couldn't finish it. Their solution: Put more food, and less on theirs, so that they can maintain their figures while I expand sideways.

And when they finally do oblige me with a picture, Grace flashed a really sweet smile while Xuezhen decided that she doesn't want me to remember her as just that 'smiling girl-friend', but the 'smiling girl-friend with the french fry sticking out'.





There, the guy who was very much part of my 1st-3-months experience in Jc - Chuen Long. Together with him, Juay Kai and Xuezhen, we'll be on the upper deck of bus 80 watching TV Mobile and chatting on the journey to school every morning. As you might have guessed, I was often the late one - as always! There was one fine day when Chuen Long, Xuezhen and I decided to take a 2hr walk to school, and I tell you... it was insane man!

For the record, she's the '1st 3 months' friend whom I've been keeping the closest contact with - probably due to the fact that Teresa's in Mjc too, the '1st 3 months' friend whom I give a birthday pressie to - without fail, though a little late sometimes, the '1st 3 months' friend whom I give Valentine's Day gift to - shared with Teresa, the '1st 3 months' friend whom Teresa shares random gossips with me about, the '1st 3 months' friend who writes short messages and gives pressie to me through Teresa, the '1st 3 months' friend who's been such an awesome mutual friend to both Teresa and I.
