Dig Dig Dig Dig Dig

Marketing sucks.

Our marketing plan draft came back looking scarier than ever before, after vetting by our lecturer. And that's an understatement of the century.

On this Sunday morning, I'm the only one trying to dig ourselves out of what feels like a bottomless pit, and sometimes I wonder why I should even do so much.

And Comm Law can just die.

So you're the one!

My my, so true! D, from way back in the JC days, msn-ed me in the wee hours of today! Glad but stunned, without a doubt!

Just We - at least 15 times last night, 3 and counting today. The song's sooo gonna be over-played!

My Maiden Tremor Experience

My world shook last night.

The ground vibrated. The lamps in the balcony and the living room swayed. Not a problem with my head, I realised.

Ah Ma was telling us that if that goes on, we had better go down.

Which led me to wonder: Shouldn't we stay right where we were - on the 19th floor - or go even higher so that if the building did actually collapse, we would be under just 1 storey of rubble and not all 20 storeys of it?

Dead -- End

“Wa.. I’m damn suay today!” was like ‘My sentence’ last Tuesday. First said to sister Rachel when I got home after I lost my beloved phone. Then, when I got my wrist burnt by the cake tin rim while taking Mom’s birthday cake out from the springform tin. And again when I rub the burnt area with ice till the skin peeled – jus like when I rubbed my bruise. So now the blister looks like one of those slash marks people inflict on themselves (Which, by the way, is something I'd never do that 'cause I really can't bear to hurt myself like that). And there’s the ugly scar left by the bruise-wound on my thigh. Just like what Rachel said:

Eh.. I give you 2 choices. You dumb or dumb huh?

And I was guilty of making too big a fuss when Mom went to change the handbag we got her for her birthday to one that is bigger, so that she can have an umbrella in her bag despite already having one in the office.

Last Friday's Econs test was surprisingly simpler than what I'd expected. Oh ya - and Sally's birthday! I got her a file and filled it up with what I thought would be her birthday wishes, finally wrapping it up in cheapo newspaper 'cause it was already so early in the morning and I wanted to sleep so bad!

Comm law on Saturday morning, outing at night - my schedule for many Saturdays recently. This time, it was to MS's Changing Appetites to celebrate Boonmay's birthday, despite my not having started on revision for the MAB test on Monday! Which means last-minute cramming for test on Sunday and Monday morning - what's new?

Yesterday's MAB test turned out to be relatively okay. But the highlight of the day was definitely going to cousin Lynette's booth at the bazaar in school - it always amazes me how enterprising poly students are. And eating frozen yoghurt - I simply adore this 'cause it's healthy (Okay seriously, who am I kidding?), I can choose the flavours I want plus I'm guessing the nostalgic factor has a lot to do with it too - and eating crackers and walking around to look-see at the rest of the booths and talking crap and people-watching, with Vincent, cousin and her friend till 6+. Cousin stayed over last night, which is cool because the last time I stayed at her place was during CNY and that was only due to our 通宵 mahjong session. I can't even recall the last time she spent a night here!

Hey 红中, 白板, 发财, 东, 南, 西, 北 - I wanna go swimming with you soon!

This morning, I woke up with more than enough time to dilly-dally dally-dilly and be on time for class. But I still ended up being late - again, what's new? - because I forgot to factor in shit-time! Bah.

Cousin was in school again today, so Teresa and Rachel decided to come down to look-see look-see too! I got the Winnie the Pooh books that I was eyeing on yesterday! And they managed to get a few good bargains too, so all in all, it was a good shopping trip. Oh, and I had the frozen yoghurt again -yummy yum yum!

The project was a major kill-joy though, probably my bad. Argh - Don't wanna talk about it.

At least dinner was a scrumptious affair! Char kway teow, hokkien mee, grilled chicken wings, oyster omelette, mutton soup, rojak, sugarcane juice, and to finish it off, goreng pisang - at the renowned food centre at Bedok interchange! My my, utterly sinful, but oh-so-good! What else can I say but that eating/food therapy really does work! 满足!

And lastly – Note to Bloggy!

Dearest Bloggy,

You've truly been an awesome friend! Even though you really anger me sometimes many times! I know you'd love a break, so yours truly shall do just that! Do take good care of yourself! Till we meet again - hopefully, my friend!
