Just to mark Mooncake Festival and Chang-e and her rabbit in the full moon..

On last count,

1) My small family has gone through 8 mooncakes, and we have at least 7 more to go.
2) I've officially expanded horizontally. Sian diao.
3) I've gone through 0.5 page today.
4) I've no clothes that is appropriate for the 'floral' theme.
5) I just did no. 4.

M got her internship at the company she has always wanted. C got an offer from a company in the industry he has always wanted. And I'm envious, not because they've made achievements. Rather, it's because they've a clear direction of where they want to go/what they want to do, and every step they've taken has been one to get them closer to their final destination.

5 years ago, I chose to enter junior college because I was unsure of what I really liked.
5 years ago, I chose to study the physics-chemisty-math subject combi because this would allow me to qualify for any and every course in uni, even when I flunked my first physics test on the most fundamental stuff.
3 years ago, I chose to study business management because I was still unsure of what I'd really enjoy and can see myself pursuing as a career.
2 years ago, I chose to major in finance because I did better in the modules that required calculations, even though I never really could see myself dealing with numbers on a daily basis.
1 year ago, I chose to major in marketing because marketing seemed more alive than HR and HR would require loads of memorising, which I can't.

So what now, 9 months and an internship after, and just 3 months to graduation?

A desk-bound job I want not. And preferably work that involves people-interaction in a less formal culture. Yes, that's it.

That's why I still get tongue-tied.
