watch planes fly, watch me fly

Recce-ed the airport on Saturday night to see which terminal had the best view of the runway, and, lo and behold, both T1 and T2 had the better half of their viewing galleries closed off. Now, all that's left to be seen are the taxiways and the planepark -_- . Had intended to watch planes fly and let my mind fly, the thoughts fly and whatever fly fly away..

So it was.. Fun with the canoeists after their movienation movie at suntec last Wednesday night, after my lifesaving theory class!

At hk cafe chatting and playing and eating and one common topic >.<

My small teeny weeny note to dear vp!

Because it was just 11+pm and we still had buses that go to our areas till 12+am and we didn't have fries at supper and there McDonald's was, a casual "do you wanna hang out?" turned into a 6++ hours long heart-to-heart chat, even though I had already been awake for 31 hours. It's my honour, really, to have you let me in on that bit of your life. And fyi, I'm a good emotion sensor, so you can't hide! Mac breakfast and no midnight cab surcharge!

The 2 of us with the fries.. talk talk chat chat till sausage mcmuffins were served

Swimming assessment after 38 awake hours and 3 sleeping hours, 'cos I was lazy to find my swimming certs. Hit my target of 30 laps - woots!!
Missing mushroom #1 :x

Good Friday - at jb again, enjoying food glorious food with ky and e!! :)) It all started with the sharing of a cab, and by the end of the journey, we made a new friend a and even traded numbers! Interesting and funny convo we had - girls can seriously talk anywhere anytime! Though we ended up very lost, we tried the mee hoon kuay on a's recommendation, and managed to find out the name of the initial seafood place we intended to go. So off we went, for our second round of seafood! Totally pigged out that evening!

The seafood was gooooood!! Cereal crayfish, sambal father sotong (same difference to me), sambal shellfish la la, sambal stingray, hotplate tofu and mantous - for just over 10 bucks per person! Good = satisfying; Good and cheap = absolutely satisfying!!! And the kueh kuehs were good too!

Lost and hungry. Our first round of dinner: yummy mee hoon kuay!

Our second round of dinner: Seafood feast!! Where the small portions weren't exactly small, where the food was finger-licking good! 满足!

Travelling with spontaneity rocks socks - my kind of fun!! I wanna go again sooooon!!!

12 April 2009: My dear beloved orange mushroom - RIP.. you're missed! :(((
