The Very White Bling Bling Party
Two Saturday nights ago, yours truly went on her maiden Zouk outing. Question: So how do you spot a Zouk virgin from afar? 1. She fumbles with whatever that's in her hand, so that she can get her left hand stamped with this uber cool only-can-be-seen-under-UV-light 'fast forward' sign. 2. She knows which room to enter along the tunnel only because she follows the crowd and the other rooms had a staff standing at the entrance. 3. She doesn't know what 'Screwdriver' is. It's vodka with orange juice by the way. 4. She realises, to her horror, that Zouk plays trance music on Saturdays, and boy, it sucks sooooo bad! I can only remember my heart going pom pom pom with every beat, 'cause we were standing near the speakers. 5. She walks 20mins to Clarke Quay to take NR7 home but waits for it for 45mins, she might as well just take it from the bus stop right outside and sleep the loooong way back. Alrighty, time for the pictures to do the talking.  I was like sooo sua-ku! Standing right where I took this photo, I was sooo awed by.. ermm.. I don't know - The whole place?? The people waiting to go in? One thing's for certain though. I was amazed by the people who are staring out of the windows of their apartment! I wonder how they can tolerate this every night/morning, 7 days of the week!  There, the Very White Bling Bling party!! Where white and bling blings rock!  M1 and F5 - from the canoeing team! With our very own F5 crowned the winner!! Yayness! Congrats! Cheers! Wooohooooo!  The group of us! The power of white - we all look totally sun-kissed! The power of sunblock - we all look totally sun-kissed!  The 4 bachelors from The Clique, since way back in 2007. The uber diligent guy who has a memory of a zillion tetrabytes, the smart guy who still manages to get a high GPA despite his last-minute studying, the ex-scandalous one who totally beats me hands down in doing last-minute work, the guy who studies way fast and whose weight is catching down with mine :x .
