Introduction

So we're finally done with our group project. And these are the 7 basic stuff I've taken away from this whole experience.


Basics of a group report

1. Every report needs an introduction and a conclusion. Full stop.

2. Word count can be estimated. If you are so bothered about agar-ation, raise it up and you can do the proper word count yourself. Don't come to us after we've submitted the report asking if we did an actual word count, knowing full well we didn't.

3. Keeping others in the loop is not sending them the latest draft and leaving them out on updates of the progress / things to do. You guys never learn!!

4. Who cares about the other projects you have with said member? Asking him to focus on the other project because you think it can be done with 4 out of 6 members is not fair! We're all in this together and everyone should contribute. Fair and square.

5. Stop with the "consensus" shit. We've often not reached a consensus. It's just that seeing you guys scribble and draw and circle and hearing you guys speak like a choo-choo train often leaves me very speechless.

6. Don't ask others if they need help when you're not done with the work yourself. It's pointless, really.

7. When it's crunch time, please don't bother us with the story of 'how you played basketball so much your arms hurt now'. Do useful things instead, like providing a proper reference. And don't sigh, because I'm actually covering up for your substandard work.


Conclusion

If possible, don't work with them again, because it's a real pain.
