I think I'm starting to feel the ____ now 'cause I've done almost nothing the past week and I just realised that there's less than 2 weeks left to the big Exams. Eeee... Scares me!

Canoeing on Friday felt totally like a refresher course. The moment I got into a K1, I tapped tapped tapped and went back back back and then, with a big AHHHH!, down I went. And it was the K1 with the big flat seat - sian diao. I can only take comfort in the fact that it must have been at least 2 years since I paddled in a K boat :x .

Then I went out for laps in that boat, and what an experience it was! I, for one, hadn't expected the paddlers to leave me stranded in the middle of the reservoir with my water-logged boat and paddle, forcing me to swim to the nearest pontoon which was at least a good 100-150m away. Yes, they have pontoons at the 500m and 0m mark now, which is certainly both good and bad! Of course, there were the kind souls, and boy am I glad they still do exist! Thanks to the njc girl and the pair of sji guys who rescued me, saving me at least a 400m swim!

Finally, as always, I wish for great/grand/big/long showers of blessings tomorrow evening - starting 5.30pm!
