Last week, my student said that she wanted a break.

Fine.

Then this morning, she texted me to say that she was expecting me. Like huh??!!! (Didn't turn up for lesson though because I slept in and only saw the message at 12 which is when tuition's supposed to be just over)

1 lesson is so not what I'd consider as "taking a break", no?
