It's over but it's starting

Finally! The last assignment for this sem is done and was submitted yesterday.

The last week has been crazy, in every sense of the word! There wasn't one day I didn't feel brain dead when I got home, which was at 9 - 11pm. There wasn't one night that I slept more than 5 hours. The final rush period for our Ob group project was, indeed, a very intensive one. Coupled with someone who's not exactly what you'd call an 'ideal member', the last few days before the deadline was definitely physically exhausting and mentally draining. But on hindsight, despite all the "Argh! We can't sleep tonight, again" and "I'm so brain dead now, dammit!", it was fun - in a sadistic kind of way. Like the times when we look at our horoscope readings when we were sooo brain dead or the nightly conversations we had on whether you have finished that part or the bitching when said member isn't around. And of course, the adrenaline rush when you finally see the completed product at the end of the mad rush period!

I've learnt that the one thing that gets me absolutely pissed is when someone keeps pushing me to contribute when, in my opinion, said person isn't doing much better or worse than myself. Same thing with Yf. Same thing with said member. Now you know what ticks me off.

Sally and I finally had our softshell crapp temaki on Saturday! It was absolutely delicious! The crab was served warm, the batter-coated shell was crisp and the meat, sweet. Definitely in my to-order list the next time I'm there! And that decision to walk home from Plaza Singapura after having 6 plates of sushi meant that I fulfilled my horoscope's prophecy for that day. Msn horoscope readings are darn accurate, I tell you.

The smoke at the temple on Sunday stung my eyes so bad, they teared non-stop. And the joss stick ash burnt my hand, so now there's a big brown 'mole' on my left hand. Dim sum was good though, especially the fu pi juan and the he ye fan!

Argh. I find myself getting increasingly impatient when I'm talking to family. Something makes me feel irritated when I talk to them, but after that, I'll feel really guilty. It happens too frequently nowadays and that suck. Something, something - get out of me please?
