Did I mention that my body's aching so bad after joining the juniors for Monday's training?

You know... I haven't been really training intensively for the past 4 months. Add to that the fact that I was sick last week. Yet I gei-kiang join the juniors for circuit training, when their fitness is supposedly nearing its peak!

OMGoodness man! It was seriously OMGoodness!

The push-ups alone were enough to kill me. They were the kind where you had to bounce left, right, up and down, before you push yourself up. I could barely bounce in those directions la! And that was just the first station of the first round of the circuits!

By the time we reached the jumping-jacks station, I could hardly jump anymore. I was practically hopping on the spot. To think that was my second favourite station last time!

But woohoo! I had this really awesome sprint in the first round where I actually felt like Sonic the Hedgehog! My legs were moving at such an amazing frequency that I was running at a speed that was really incredible! I wasn't the last for that sprint, and that's no mean feat considering the fact that I haven't been training and that my stamina still sucks big time even when I train.

However, by the second round, I was so fatigued that I resorted to doing normal push-ups, jumping like a crippled jumping-jack, and finally conceded defeat at the dips station.

They did weight training after that, and I also gei-kiang join in. It felt good knowing that I could still lift the same weights, though with much more effort now.


So, the result of all that gei-kiang-ness is: A very aching body since Tuesday!


And I still gei-kiang joined the juniors for training just now.

By tomorrow morning, I bet I'd be really wishing that I was never so gei-kiang!
