Last Thursday, I was working with this uncle-looking guy (you'll never believe he's from acjc) who was simply too honest for his own good.

Last Friday, I had the most wonderful time at work with Sally. For once, I didn't take my book out. We just chatted, played games, tallied the accounts (Which took pretty long, cos we were all confused. Hehe. =P )... Time passed real quick! The best thing was, there was a bonus for that day too! WoOhoO!

Last Saturday, I went to a Canadian universities fair with Daffy (Not likely a plausible alternative cos got no $$. Boohoohoo!). Lunch at Fish & Co was good. We ended up chatting for hours (what's new?), leaving just enough time for Daffy to get to church for the mass. What we didn't count on was getting stuck in a terrible jam along Serangoon Road caused by the Thaipusam procession. Many onlookers lined the route taken by Hindu devotees carrying the kavadis. From the upper deck of the bus, I had a really good view of the whole procession. And so there I was, watching it and wondering to myself, "How the hell do they do that?!" I can never imagine myself piercing any other parts of my body beside my ears! It was truly a refreshing experience.

Yesterday, we had the final mahjong session for the CNY. I was on a winning streak until Teresa tapped my shoulder, and she proceeded to win the next few rounds. But luckily, I won enough before to still get some money at the end of the session. WoOhoO!

Today, I was totally being a couch-potato. Watched the Winter Olympics in the morning, where I was totally blown away by the speed-skaters and ice hockey players. For one, I never knew Korea and China had such strong speed skating teams! And I was finally done with 'Message in the Bottle' by Nicholas Sparks. It was a bittersweet story - touching but ever so tragic.

Work again tomorrow.
