busy bumble bee
Grey's Anatomy is awesome man! WoOhoO! Doctors/lawyers/police dramas are simply the best! The way they go about doing their work really amazes me! Am gonna catch it every Monday night! =) Friday: Ah Ma and I went to the hospital cos Dad was discharged that afternoon. Uncle Jimmy met us there to fetch us home. You know... One of the things on my wishlist is to be able to stay in a hospital for a minor injury. So well, I was telling Dad, "Aiya... I'd have asked for an upgrade to a better ward and stayed a couple more days there, since the insurance company's gonna pay anyway!" Hehe.. And being the good cousin that I am, I decided to drop by SP's openhouse later that afternoon, cos Lynette said that she'll get 2 cca points if I went. Well, I blended in with the crowd sooo well that the SP students often mistook me for one of the secondary school students! It was hilarious! I guess the Paul Frank tee and the Spongebob bag didn't exactly help either! Hahaha! Guess I'm not only young at heart, I'm young in appearance too! *Puke* Hahaha! Saturday: Our family had a praying session for Ah Kong cos it's the 21st day since he passed away. Contrary to what I'd expected, it wasn't a solemn affair at all! Aunty Susan and a few of the kids (which includes me) played a couple of board games - Cluedo and Scrabble - while the younger ones busied themselves with blablabla. The adults gathered at the table to chat, which I thought was quite amazing cos they seem to have endless topics to talk about though we've seen each other rather often this month. In fact, it felt a little like Chinese New Year, where the whole family would gather at Ah Ma's house in the morning. I remember I used to dislike playing Scrabble, because the whole game was just about words, words, and more words! But ever since we took out the Scrabble set on the day we brought Ah Kong's ashes to the temple (Somehow we always play it on days like this), I was hooked to it! Plus, playing it with Aunty Susan and the older kids really brought Scrabble to a whole new level - everyone's gunning for those 'power' boxes - which really brought the interest level up a notch! Oh yes. Do you know that ashes actually came in the form of bones, and not all powdery like how they always portray it on television? Sunday: We had a steamboat dinner at our place. It was yummy yum yum totally! WoOhoO! Which brings me to my next point... I've been eating a whole lot but I haven't exercised in eons! Argh. Must get lazy ME off the sofa and onto the track very very soon! The fats are accumulating. I can feel it. Boohoohoo! =( Yesterday: Suay suay suay! The recruitment agency finally called Daffy and I about a job vacancy. So we went down to the office to sign the papers and get our timesheet, but alas, the girl said that... .... The company had enough people already!! And it was a relatively easy job with a pretty good pay. Argh. Just how suay is that?! So up till now, I'm still jobless. But surprisingly, I'm not feeling bored yet. =) January's been a busy month. Plus, Chinese New Year's just round the corner! Yayness! And guess what?!! Teresa got invited to join the National squad! WoOhoO! She's elated cos well, we're on the same level now! Hahahaha! =)
My IQ dropped 0 points today!
