Wednesday:

Great day definitely!! Got most of my anybaos today! Woohoo... =)

Wore the clothes I hurriedly bought on New Year's Eve. Lol!

Finished visiting in the afternoon. Played Blackjack with my cousins. Won $8++! Wee.... =)

Dinner at my Ah Ma's house was a simple affair. Mostly leftover food from the reunion dinner yesterday.

My Indian-Chinese cousins came over. And boy, they look gorgeous! Lol! The guy's dark and handsome, the girl's slim and tall! Aww... =P

And for the record, the New Year TV programmes suck this year! Most of the shows were crap - either very old movies, or they've been shown umpteen times! =(

Thursday:

Luck's definitely not on my side today!

Cousins came over in the afternoon to gamble. Lost whatever profit I made on Wednesday.

Just broke even when we played Blackjack. When it went on to Mahjong, I lost hands-down. Out of 10 games, I lost 10!!! And one of my cousins is just Primary 6! Haha....

That just shows how lousy I am at Mahjong! Lol! =)

Had dinner at my uncle's place. The food was FANTASTIC!

Here's what on the menu:

- Fish maw soup
- Abalone with vegs
- Chicken with don't know what
- Oysters with mushroom and 'fa cai'
- Saffron rice
- Asparagus with ginko nuts

Man, what a spread! I was pigging out again! And there was still dessert after dinner! Woohoo!

Also tried Ice Wine. It's really nice! Unlike the red wines I've tried, this one is really sweet, and not dry! Had quite alot of it! Haha... My face was turning red man!

Today's a nice day! Obviously, cos I got to feast!! Lol! =)

Friday:

Back to school again! *Sigh*

Totally not in the mood to study at all! The teachers don't seem to enjoy being in school either.

But Mdm Tan didn't turn up today. So it was practically Slacking Day. Wee... =P

Met up with Daffy to get VDay presents at Orchard after school. Stupid Daffy skipped school today - bad girl! Lol! Got really nice Vday presents for the team! Woohoo! Spent every cent in my wallet, and went home with only 2 miserable 5 cent coins! Daffy, you're so lucky ok? I didn't get to buy my Taco Pachi and tempt you with it! Lol! =)

There was dinner at my place. Family members and mom's friends came over. Food was DELICIOUS!!! Pigged out again! Lol!

I think I've eaten so much these few days, I've gained a zillion fat cells!! Gotta burn them off now! Argh!~ I HATE RUNNING!! Lol!

Anyway, the guests left really late! I, being a good host, obviously stayed up till they left. Unlike some people, who comes out in a pink 'My Melody' pyjamas at 10, and wishes everyone good night. Right Daffy? Lol!

Grand total of money collected: $300++!! Woohoo!!! =)

Saturday:

Woke up at 6.55 am. Was rushing like a mad woman, cos training's at 7! Immediately msged Daffy to tell them I'll be freaking late. And she told me that Melvin gave her a stupid laugh. Made me so nervous, cos I thought Mel will give me some weird punishment, like run 10k! Haha...

Reached there at 7.19 am! Pretty fast actually! Could reach there in 20 mins. Luckily, punishment was as per normal - 10 push-ups for every min. So it's 190 push-ups for me. Hehe... Did 120 already, still owe 70. Will do it on Monday.

Training was pretty good! Launched the K2 myself. Made it to shore without capping! Yea!~

Training was as usual:

- 1.5km warm-up (K2)
- 8 x 500m sprints (T2)

Sprinting was good! Yuen Foong and I finally have a race plan! Can't believe she didn't have a race plan this whole time! And I just followed her blindly!

Tried my race plan out, and it worked! We were faster! Yea!~

There were so many boats today! Rescued this guy who paddled the K1 version of the Mosquito. He's damn cool la! So pro! After we emptied the water in his boat, he was like, "Erm... How do I get up?" Lol!

I practised the K1 white (with Tiger's seat) as well! And wow! I thought I'm managing the K1 pretty well now! Yea!~

Coach also said that I am pretty okay in calm waters. Double Yea!~ Lol! He said that I can practise when we get to MacRitchie. And I was like, "Are you serious? We are going to MacRitchie?". He replied, "No, I'm kidding" rather sarcastically. Gosh! If we're going to MacRitchie, I bet I'll be sooo strong after the trainings, cos I'll be late everytime. Lol!

Oh ya. Went to join in the discussion on shore after the sprints. Coach said that if there's a T2 event for girls in the Nationals, he'll put Yuen Foong and I down. Hmm......

Took the T2 back to the pontoon alone. Stupid me took the only T2 with resistance! It was really power training! At least direction was not screwed up. And Kah Meng could paddle the black Mos all the way back to the pontoon, which is no mean feat btw!

Coach's debrief - Gotta talk to those who missed trainings, cos SDBA is coming soon, and we should treasure every training.

Wanted to shower at the National Stadium after that, but there were sooo many people in there. So Daffy and Xunbin came over to my place for a bath. Didn't expect dad and mom to prepare lunch for us. Anyway, Daffy liked the curry chicken so much, she practically cleared the plate man! Lol! And they got an angbao each! To think they actually said, "No need, no need la!", but still accepted it anyway. Lol! =)

Went to Bennett's place for a party, or should I say, a gambling session! No, 'team bonding session' sounds nicer! Lol! =)

Won $3 when I played Blackjack.

Hong An and I learnt a new game - Mahjong!!! =)

Very complicated game I must say. Got chicken eat worm, cat eat mouse, wind direction, "touch yourself"... Lol!

Daffy was just slacking all the way! Except for the occasional, "Daffy, tissue please" or "Daffy, pass me my drink". Lol! =)

Made Daffy help me with the messages for the girls. Gave her a 2min break in the middle, cos we were both brain-dead. But Daffy, you owe me one, cos you overslept by 1 min! Haha... =)

Stayed till 9+. Took a cab to Eunos interchange with Kah Meng and Lina.

Indeed an enjoyable day!
