I had Math tutorial this morning. Didn't expect the turnout to be that bad. There were only 12 people present.

Well, it was the last tutorial we're gonna have by Mrs Kwek. She's gonna leave after this year, to go to the new JC - Innova Junior College. It's really sucky! Sr teachers never fail to get poached by the new JCs. Why don't they get teachers from other JCs like Mjc? It happened when Mjc was opened, and it's happening again as Innova JC starts next year. To make things worse, its usually the good teachers who get poached. Teachers like Mrs Kwek are an asset to Srjc. Yet, it is always this very group of teachers who leaves. Maybe this is an indication that Sr teachers are indeed really good?

Even my sis told me that the ex-Sr teachers who are currently teaching in Mjc are all very good. They have the "attitude", which no other teachers have. Yea, I guess that's what makes a Sr teacher fantastic!

Anyway, Mrs Kwek was really really nice today. She was really patient (Something not often seen of her) and made sure we understood everything's that being taught. She was also chatting with us as she went through the examples in Maclaurin's Series. She gave us tips on how to score well for the 'A's next year and how she enjoyed teaching 1S12 as we're have the "right attitude" towards learning. Not forgetting, she also told me that "I have to ask more questions in class".

I used to dislike Math tutorials, sometimes even dreading it, but all has changed ever since I got back my Math Promo results. Indeed, I've improved alot after doing my tutorials consistently. The Promos is the first paper I've passed for Math. Yea!~ Really glad that she screamed at me that time, cos it really woke me up.
