Today's the Fifteen-Drama. I was looking forward to it all day. In fact all week. But it didn't really turn out the way I expected it to be. Not the performance, but the duties I had to carry out as an usher. Well, maybe being an usher isn't that easy after all. Standing at the corridor, waiting for people to walk past, and hopefully acknowledging your presence, that's not a good feeling at all. Plus, I don't really have a clear idea on what's my duties at all. I'm just running up and down, hoping to make myself useful. I hate that! Though the experience was a worthwhile one, I hope I won't have to do that again.
 
Despite the not so enjoyable time I had as an usher, I still had fun. My first time wearing such formal wear. My firsy 'kok' shoes I have. The first blouse I buy. It's indeed alot of 'first' for me. Going shopping to get my 'kok' shoes and my blouse was really time-consuming! Now I know why women always take so long to shop. I can still remember I took just 6 steps to try my shoes - 3 steps to try, 3 steps to go back to the seat. Haha... It really felt awkward walking in heels! Hmm... And actually I think the blouse looked quite nice on me! Hehe... I think I looked pretty good in the blouse, jeans and 'kok' shoes. Like a journalist! Haha... As we were walking to Victoria Theatre this afternoon, we passed the Supreme Court. Oddly, I began to imagine how it'll be if I was standing at the top of the 50+ steps, in my graduation robe and taking pictures. Or if I'm standing up there in a smart business suit looking at the Padang and thinking how far I've come. Sounds cool right? I know it seems kinda far-fetched, but at least it's a dream, and maybe one day, that dream will become reality.
 
As I'm typing now, my feet hurts terribly, from all that walking and standing tonight. Still, the supper we had at 'Lau Pa Sat' remains fondly in my memories.
